"I was welcomed to the property, shown to my room by a friendly and helpful lady. She explained about the shower, tea and coffee making, and how to access the property using the fob. There was also a written guide in the room. The problem I encountered was the small spotlights were flickering which made reading or knitting difficult so the first night I lay on the floor by the bathroom door to read as these lights did not flicker. "This is a charming country house and everyone was amazing. We enjoyed a walk around the property and the food was spot on. You can’t go wrong staying here if in the neighborhood. If you’re also familiar wrote ceramics, you’ll find several ships about 10-15 mins away that is a great place to browse and shop. "

Grime in the bathroom where floor meets walls. Very dirty remote control, some kind of sauce spilled on the side of the chest of drawers. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. "The room was clean but the bed was hard and you needed binoculars to see the TV. We stayed in Kent hall and it seemed like an old office block that has been turned into bedrooms. Breakfast wasn't that great sausages and bacon were overcooked and dry. The parking was not that great either."

"Very impressed with The Manor. Super quiet location although in the centre of town. Room was spacious, clean and warm. Wi-fi worked well. Breakfast was delivered prompt (8-9am) with plenty to choose from. We only met the owner/manager who was very attentive and friendly. He also had lots of suggestions of things to do whilst visiting the area. Overall, it was good value for money and we’d stay again if back in the area."

"The property was fine, could do with a repaint and maybe new carpets as it’s dated. But staff were lovely and food was nice There wasn’t many plug sockets in the room so we had to take turns in using the only socket available"
