The property had been renovated recently. The room was nice although the air freshener used was overwhelming and difficult to breath. We opened the door to let the ac/heater evacuate the air out of our room. The bed was comfortable. The complementary breakfast was nice.

Really appreciated the off street parking and the elevator. Excellent continental breakfast, nice clean room with a cool refrigerator, very restful sleep. Best Super 8 ive stayed in yet, and I've been traveling for over 30 years.

Breakfast was suppose to be included but we apparently should have got a ticket from the front, but did not get one not sure why…. So make sure you ask if you did not receive a ticket for your breakfast that is suppose to be included. But the food was absolutely great and filling

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. No directory binder in room to let guests know about the hotel. For instance we were not informed of the hours for the complementary breakfast. We arrived downstairs to eat at 8:50 am and were told and I quote, "Sorry there's no food left." I was able to get a coffee with no lid. When I asked for a lid I was told by the girl on the desk, "Sorry I don't have time to look for a lid for you. You can go back up to your room. There's lids there." I asked the girl to tell Arlo the manager that there should be directories in the rooms so guest would have the proper info. She said, "We're not bougie like that to have directories and Arlo won't care anyway. He's too worried about other stuff." Also the location was surrounded by construction of the streets and was extremely difficult to get into. Hence I'll never be staying there again. Linda Edmonton, Ab, Canada

Our room and the breakfast area have had recent upgrades that look very nice. The WiFi was easily accessed. Unfortunately, the elevator was not working and the staff did not bring it to our attention. We discovered it when we retrieved our luggage from the underground parking after check-in. We had no problem using the stairs, but felt guests should have been made aware of the dilemma other than a sign at the elevator. In addition, at breakfast, they were out of plates and forks. Though not impossible to eat pancakes and sausages with a spoon out of a bowl. When I inquired the excuse was that they ran out of forks and plates a few days ago, with no reassurance that they would be replaced soon. Coffee was nice and hot and check out was easy.
