"There was work going on when we arrived! And had not been told about this. The room we was in was very small but had a fantastic view of the bridge. The tv didn’t work and the sink was blocked so brushing your teeth and washing your hands was a challenge. The bed was very comfortable but found it hard to sleep as curtains were not big enough for the window so light coming in from both sides and middle. Luckily we were only staying for one night . I had always wanted to stay there but I can’t see us ever booking it again."

"I have stayed in this hotel three times now. The first stay was beyond excellent, the second not so much. But this third time was pretty good once I'd managed to check in (they weren't having an early check-in, beyond giving me an accessible room which I didn't need or something in the basement), but I was pretty happy with where they finally put me as it was very quiet and I slept well. The breakfast was good and I appreciated the free drink. If I run London next year then I will probably want to return for a fourth time."

Some staff seemed very new this time (we found it difficult to order a cup of coffee up to the room - called front desk and the first time what arrived was bags of instant) but all tried and were super friendly. "Always get what I need at CitizenM Tower of London. Friendly staff, a comfortable bed a d THAT view. Two steps from the tube and hence from anywhere in London, I can't wait for my next excuse to stay with the team."

"Hostels are very different from hotels apparently. Not only is nothing for drinks in the room, there is not even a glass for water. Dog barking hours into the night. Poor quality food with little vegetarian options. No room service."
