A nice place to stay! We were traveling through New Mexico and stopped in Grants for a night's rest. Check in was easy and front desk person was super friendly. The room was small but very clean. We will definitely stay here again!

The guy at the reception was friendly and very helpful in providing information on restaurants and nearby attractions. We were on our way back to Texas and it is a perfect no frill pit stop. The building itself is old but the room is very clean. The motel is located near the train track so if you are a light sleeper this place might not be for you. I had such a lovely stay at this beautiful property, nestled against a wonderful mountain backdrop. The room was very clean and smelled wonderfully fresh, and the bed was comfortable, just perfect for a restful night. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and at ease throughout my stay. The entire property is in excellent condition, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.

The room was basic. The bed was comfortable. Minor issues include exterior door handle stickiness which made entry difficult and the bathroom door didn’t fully close. Also, the bathroom sink had one faucet that delivered hot water and the other faucet was warm; no cold water. The manager, David, was charming, he’d provided 2 bottles of much appreciated chilled drinking water. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of places to go and restaurants to visit. We enjoyed talking with David very much.
