Room was very clean and had everything you need. Coffee, tea, toiletries. Hairdryer, safe. ext everything we needed. Well equipped gym and sauna topped it off. The Breakfast was superb. Overall, it is a nice place to stay when in Gothenburg central. The hotel is located in the central station which is very practical when coming by train or coach as well as going to the airport. There was a good variety of food for breakfast. The only thing was that in the room, it is impossible to open the windows as they were sealed to the wall. You could see the indoor courtyard but we had a difficult time with the heating system and with two people in the room, it was quite hot and no air flow. The receptionist told us that they could get the technician to come and check it but we thought that we didn't need it especially as we weren't there for the time that they would've been able to come. Other than that, it was a good hotel.

The hotel was good for the price. The room did not have a window to the outside only to a courtyard which was internal. The walls were very thin and you could hear people in other rooms and every time a door closed. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection however lacked quality and some days it was hard to find a seat. The hotel is in a central location and it is easy to walk everywhere.

My recent stay at the Hyatt was a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptional and incredibly accommodating, even recommending places to visit during my stay which I found very considerate and helpful. The breakfast was also great with a wide selection of dishes and gluten-free options. However, I had two complaints. Firstly, the rooms were far too hot for my liking. I understand keeping rooms warm during Swedish winters but it became uncomfortable at times. While I prefer a colder room for sleeping, I realise this may not be everyone’s preference. Secondly, I encountered a few issues. Some items were missing from my room, like an empty mini fridge, and I had to pay extra for fabric slippers. Despite these minor inconveniences, I wouldn’t discourage others from staying at the Hyatt. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with everything within walking distance or easily accessible by the nearby train or tram station.
