"We were shocked to find no refrigerator or microwave and were informed that that was standard practice now. The curtain for the front window viewed from the walkway was ripped and had holes poked in it and was visible to anyone walking by. I persuaded the desk clerk to let me have some packing tape to make a temporary repair. The shower rod in the bathroom was torn loose from the walls on both ends and I was surprised that I could take a shower without an accident happening, but I was dirty and in need of that shower after our trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The exterior shows a building gradually or not so gradually falling apart from dry rot and crumbling concrete. The bed was nice though and the air conditioner finally cooled everything down."

"Breakfast is right in the front lobby, was not great, cold cereal, yogurt, prepackaged muffins, tiny kids juice boxes and very small apples. Homeless people in the back and across the street."
