FALSE & DEFAMATORY statements. We acknowledge all true reviews, both positive and negative, as part of any normal business, but will never accept the distortion of the truth. Guest stayed at the apartment then had change of plan during the stay that she would like to come back home earlier than expected, in which the normal cancellation policy applied. Tried to blackmail & threaten us to give refund, otherwise would make false statements and spreading around the internet. While we appreciate the guest’s disappointment for not getting the refund, we decline to compromise with any threat like this and believe that the truth speaks for itself and the wise readers will not be fooled by this. Guest does not dare to leave the name on every reviews that she left and even the content is conflicting in the reviews she left on different webpages.

Hi Pamela, Thanks for your feedback and our apology for the inconveniences that you may experience during your stay. The review, however, confuses us a bit because you gave us good feedback during your stay here (which were still recorded on the website online) and we did not receive any complaints about cleaning or anything else during that time. We hope that we were informed about it as we can definitely reconcile any issues if there were. We will pass your feedback on to the cleaning company. Also, we'd like to clarify that the lounge glasses are one-way mirror which means you can see outside but the outside people can't see the inside. Hence, there's no blinds for it purposely. We just had pest control company did all indoor & outdoor areas in August so we will get them to come back to check it. We are sorry that there was a misunderstanding about the towels as we were advised by your child that you require extra towels, not 1 is missing. And since you booked for 4 ppl but there are actually 5, we thought that you required extra as there were enough towels in room. I understand that you are upset about the towels but hope it does not affect your view about other things. If we can assist further, please do not hesitate to contact us again. Thank you.

Hi Anonymous, Our sincere apology for the gap in our usual high standard. Unfortunately, we don't know your name or your unit number to identify which unit it is. We checked all the units and do not see any damaged wall or door??? If there's big thing like wall or door is damaged, we should notice right away. We wish we had known about it during your stay so we can rectify the issue right away but we did not hear anything from you guys, unfortunately. Our reception opens during business hours and we have call centre which you can connect with us 24/7 from your room or from outside. Our apartments is self-serviced apartments so we only provide complimentary welcome pack of amenities for the first night. Any extra, you can get from supermarket just some mins walking away or from reception at reasonable cost. This is stated on our website or listings. We hope this misunderstanding does not affect your stay. Best regards,

Dear guest, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that you didn't book the Riverview room. We even showed you the booking confirmation from Wotif showing that you booked the other room type which does not have riverview and is cheaper when the you raised the issue upon arrival. Our riverview units are stated clearly with Riverview title and in the description. We are sorry that you may not read it carefully which may lead to this misunderstanding. Anonymous, Thank you for taken time to review your stay at Surfers Riverside , There are bylaws in place and mostly adhered to, Surfers Paradise is renown as a party town however we have strict noise policy in our building , if an issue arises we should be contacted as soon as possible. we only recently clean or carpets and a little confused why the carpets were wet ..we were not alerted ..we recommended if any issues arises to alert the office so we can act in a timely manner.
