"I think just avoid all inclusive in Aruba but I’d definitely not come back to the Riu Aruba Palace Antillas. The value is just not there at all. The real issue is the food. Other than breakfast and some dishes at the Krystal restaurant, it was really inedible. You can’t make reservations for dinner and most had hour plus wait times by 6:30pm (and you were waiting for not great food). There is basically no food between lunch and dinner. So many of the waitresses were unbelievably nice. Hitting head on the lamp wasn’t fun (it’s on top of bed?). The pool and beach were unusable a lot of the time as zero available chairs by 7am and no one doing their job to bring chairs around usually. The entertainment was lowly attended most nights and there was not much going on at the resort. The dancers and some singers and shows were good. The bars stock only certain quantities of alcohols like Tito’s and don’t not refill when they run out. All the bartenders were super nice. We were told by the doorman he couldn’t find us a cab and it’d be better to find it on the street (which was difficult). I complained about the food and was hoping there’d be some type of change but it really was just a serious problem. I basically stuck to breakfast which was good and then salads. I have a severe mango and papaya allergy which was quite hard to navigate, so I couldn’t eat fruit. The management was nonexistent. The internet never worked and you had to reconnect every time you wanted to use it. "

"Rooms are outdated. Bed was comfortable. Big rooms with full kitchen. Infinity pool was always fun. Best food I’ve ever had at an all inclusive."

"Great location. Right on the beach. 3 onsite restaurants which are a little pricey but excellent food and service. Clean rooms and grounds and pools. Check in process is a little slow but the staff is extremely nice and accommodating. One warning, if you stay in building 7 on the even side of the building ( such as room numbers 7102, 7202, 7324, 7422, 7532, etc.) there is a restaurant/club next door to the resort that plays loud music until 1 or 2 AM. You are also within walking distance of many restaurants, clubs and entertainment. "

"Dogs next door barking and howling for parts of morning. Yard construction and sometimes faulty fire alarm going off in morning. Only personal item for me would be that they should upgrade the soap used in their units. Everything else was fast friendly awesome location and a really unique little yard and pool space. Beach s walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for what we were looking for. "

"My niece stayed at Joia in March 2026 and it did not disappoint. We were greeted with wash clothes to wipe our hands and was then given a yummy drink that had ginger in it. The lobby was beautiful. Kayla was warm and inviting when she checked us in. She told us, we were upgraded to a swim up room due to my Expedia status. The bellman was so nice that escorted us to our room. He explained all the room's features. The room was really high-tech. You didn't have to put out a sign that said you needed housekeeping. It was a button that you would push that you either needed housekeeping or you didn't need to be disturbed. The experience was 5 stars from check in, room service, the three restaurants, infinity pool and the bars. Berny was the lobby bartender and he was the greatest. I asked for a dirty dirty martini and it was filthy. Thanks Berny your service was impeccable!! I have only good things to say about this resort. I would unequivocally without a shadow of a doubt recommend this resort. It was gorgeous. The staff was beautiful. It was clean the restaurants served good food and the alcohol was definitely a step above other places that I have stayed. I can definitely see myself returning to this resort. The island is just so gorgeous. During the time we were there it was beautiful 80° weather with no humidity. "
