"A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. "The staff here were so lovely and kind. The rooms are part of a large complex of dormitory housing for the St Angelus University. So I was in a suite with 3 separate bedrooms with their own locks, and one common room with a kitchen. It was very basic but comfortable. Perfect for a family with teenagers. Good location outside of busy town of Sligo"

"Beautiful large hotel with easy reach to Sligo town. It was previously a lockdown mental Institution but the clayton has turned it into a 4-star hotel with a restaurant and, spa and indoor pool. The only downside was that when we arrived in the room, the next room had young teenage kids playing football, and the noise was very off-putting as the ball smashed up against the wall. So we immediately went down to Reception and asked if we could be moved. The receptionist apologised and gave us another room, but when we got to it, it also had very young kids next door. We didn't go and complain as we knew they would eventually go to sleep, and they did, and we never heard from them again. The breakfast was good and warm, and the service was good. The staff were all very friendly"

"Lovely twin room with good shower in ensuite. Excellent kitchen/common room area with lots of cooking options - oven, microwave etc. Sofas for groups to relax. Parking would normally be good but on the Saturday night, the local GAA team were playing and the car park and surrounding streets were rammed. Only disappointment was the check in as no-one from the property was there. We had to phone up the international ( for us) number causing extra expense. It might help future visitors if the property sent out check in instructions by text, email etc on the day of arrival"
