We had a self-contained motel unit that was roomy and had everything we needed. Also liked the outlook - a grassy playing area with things for children.
I had only a night stay, so therefore my experience of the facilities, etc is limited. The set up is nice. The cabin, kitchen and lounge/tv area was clean . The gentleman was pleasant and.informative on arri
Ive stayed here a couple of times before, its always clean and tidy. The beds in the cabins are so comfortable. The kitchens and bathrooms are always very clean and tidy.the grounds are kept absolutely beautiful. The staff are lovely and caring
It had goats, a sheep, donkey and a pony kids could ride.. that was unique. A pub with excellent food in walkable distance... The pizzas yum... We stayed in a cabin. Highly recommended.
We found the standard at the property well below others on offer. It was noisy, no facilities with regards to towels etc. There was barely enough room in the cabin to move.

Next time I would clarify if units had onsuites
My mistake.
Very comfortable beds. Nice location. Great amenities. Tiny hut with no supplies at all. For the price we did expect tea n coffee n sugar sachets perhaps. Only 2 nice mugs and a kettle. Good size fridge but no milk. A few spider webs but otherwise very clean n tidy.
Acceuil tres sympathique. Camping tres bien agencé avec tout le nécessaire pour se préparer les repas. Sanitaires, cuisine et cabine très propres. A recommander.
A handy location for our holiday plans. A nice stay. The only downside would have to be the distance to the toilet from the cabins (good thing it didn't rain overnight)

Walking 50m through the campsite to the bathroom seemed fine in theory. But at 6am in the winter, it's dark and cold and wet and slippery and windy and you gotta go, and you get there, finally, and then you need a code to get in. And don't get too comfortable! The lights are on a timer. How awesome is it to have to come out of your toilet cubicle (or the shower) with parts exposed to the bitter cold just to wave around like a crazy person hoping to God that no other human is a.) stupid enough to book a stay here or b.) awake at 6am. Luckily, nobody is ever up before 8am in this country.
It was too cold. There were many judgemental little signs around explaining the rules. One rule was thst you can have heat in the kitchen from 5-10am and pm. Not true. The heater did not work. I'm paying $70nz per night to cook and eat while fully dressed in my winter coat. Cabin heater was inefficient and i was cold during the day as i tried to get a few hours of work done while in the cabin. Beds were painful. I tried 2.
Also, trains go by (quite close and loud) around 3:30am, so i had to go to sleep very early so i could at least get a few hours. Rain made it hard to sleep. Cabins are under trees, and the rain fell via the branches, which means the sound of rain on the metal roof was quite loud and random. Imagine trying to sleep with a pan of popcorn cooking next to you.
