Fantastic experience. This place is exactly what we had in mind, and had plenty of space to relax with a private pool. We had free bikes to use to explore the island with, and the breakfast was brought directly into the villa each morning. Ahmed was extremely helpful in greeting us with lots of helpful information and recommendations, and was super accommodating during our stay. I would love to go back one day.

Considering the price Gili Treehouses was the worst experience of accommodation that my wife and I have had and we are both very well travelled. We really can't understand all the positive reviews. We paid similar amounts for villas in Ubud and Nusa Dua (also via Expedia) and these were both far superior in terms of overall service and quality. We were very disappointed, especially given that we chose to stay here over other choices which were much closer to the beach and cost less than half as much per night. Some of the issues that we experienced included the following: - The water was not working during the first night which meant that we could not shower or flush the toilet - The WiFi dongle provided cut out regularly and then ran out of credit so that we were left without internet for half a day. - The lock on the door to our room did not work properly. We struggled to lock it and had to keep asking the staff to open and close it for us. This was a big inconvenience and the issue was only fixed at the end of the final day of our stay - The air conditioning was very loud - The guests in the villa next to ours were very noisy late into the night - The bikes and lock provided were rusty, uncomfortable and difficult to use - There was never anyone in the office so we had to search around for someone to help us every time. There was no phone in the room and we were expected to WhatsApp Laura which often wasn't always possible as the WiFi had cut out My advice.. don't do it

A unique place to stay, with a treetop room and a private hangout area downstairs, with comfy chill out seating and pool. Communication with the host Laura was fast and easy and the staff were accommodating and attentive. The island itself was lovely and we had a good time diving, eating and chilling out around the island.

Vi digger Gili Treehouse!!

Vi tilbragte fire netter i den koselige trehytta til Gili Treehouses og hadde det superfint! Vi så ikke et eneste insekt inne i hytta eller på badet, det er imponerende på Gili! Frokosten var kjempegod, fersk juice og nystekte egg OG det beste hjemmelagde syltetøyet. Vertinnen Laura er en av de største grunnene til at oppholdet vårt ble så bra, hun anbefalte nydelige restauranter og fulgte opp alt vi lurte på eller ville gjøre. Hotellet har bærbart Internett, så man kan ha nett på hele øya - genialt!

+Positives Arranged my pickup and fast boat ahead of time for me so I didn’t have to worry Laura the property manager was AMAZING!!!! She was super friendly and helpful. She had a map ready for me with all the best places to go highlighted. She checked on me every morning and throughout the day to make sure I had everything I needed. SHE is the epitome of what great hospitality looks like. It’s no surprise her staff was also on point. They were sweet and always ready to help. They made animals out of my towels every day :) Bikes were provided to get around the island Portable WiFi to take with you for the day so you always have service I was cold and asked for a thicker blanket (which I’m sure they never hear bc it’s so warm) but they found me a nice thick duvet cover for my bed Breakfast was great and there was a nice selection. Nice restaurant next store with good food Lost an earring with sentimental value on the last day. After i checked out they looked every for it and found it! They rushed to the boat station to give it to me before i left. I can’t believe they found me among all the passengers...so awesome and sweet :) Honestly can’t say enough about how great my experience was!!!! - Negatives If i had to be nit picky the only suggestion I would give is about lifhting. The Room was pretty dark after the sun went down...maybe just a few more lights in the room to brighten it up a bit would be nice

Gili Treehouse= our home away from home

Where to start? We Absolutely LOVE Gili Treehouse!! My wife and I started our honeymoon at Gili Treehouses and it was the most amazing stay- from the accommodations, attention to detail and the absolutely incredible service from Laura! Her attention to detail, excellent communication, recommendations- she truly has a gift at anticipating guests needs and following through- we couldn’t want or ask for more during our stay!! Adji and Zul were so sweet and personable in helping with breakfast, getting our bikes ready and we loved their smiles and service. We can’t recommend Gili Treehouse enough. Thank you Laura, Adji and Zul for making our honeymoon amazing! You made us feel like family! We will def be back 💙

The Best Yet 🏆

Amazing place to stay, staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast included is yummy. The treehouses are close to the quiet side of the island which we prefered. The bikes provided are cool and its a short cycle to get to the buzy side of the island. If I travel to Gili T again this would be my first choice to stay. Honestly... get it booked you won't be disappointed. Enjoy 🤗

Un séjour au top

La cabane est très fonctionnelle et permet de profiter pleinement de la terrasse et de la piscine. Le personnel est au petit soin et il est très facile de commander les repas dans le restaurant situé juste à côté. La localisation de l’hotel est très agréable et grâce aux vélos, il est possible de se rendre partout sur l’île! Merci pour ce beau séjour.

Cool concept hotel, fun and amazing to chill in

Such a nicely done place, loved the style. Also it’s super clean and staff are so sweet and try so hard help and accommodate. There’s a great restaraunt next door that deliver as well. I stayed in house number 4 which was slightly smaller but brand new and perfect for 1/2 people. I was impressed with how thoroughly it was cleaned every day. It’s a short bike ride to beach. Definitely recommend!

Nice hotel

Staff & owner are very friendly & helpful. The hotel less than 5 minutes walk to sunset beach. Welcome drink & breakfast to both of my kids too although i only booked one room villa. My kids love the pool & the swing.

The staff were faultless. A man called Jack I'm guessing was the manager, was hugely helpful.. gave us a map, highlighted best bars and restaurants for us. Also we're best to watch the sunset or go snorkelling! He wasn't wrong every suggestion he gave us was spot on. All the bits that worked there were polite and happy to help. The best part after the amazing treehouse was the breakfast. Money well spent.. wish we stayed longer.

Gili Treehouses is definitely a different kind of accommodation experience to anything else on GiliT. For one the wifi is great :) the openness and space whilst staying in seclusion is brilliant and it reminisces the days when as kids we would be climbing trees and making fun and semi-safe places to sleep in. I actually booked the date incorrectly and the staff were brilliant in contacting the owner to sort my problem out, so I am very grateful to them for their help, otherwise I would have been paying twice. Nothing was too much trouble and they willingly help out so thank you to the staff. The accommodation itself is very comfortable with the white sands of western GiliT across the road. Sure it is a horse or bike ride to get to party central, but it is great to return to the peace and quiet afterwards. We had 3 people, so they arranged 3 free bikes for us to use during our stay. Highly recommended
