"The place looks tired, dared, and half empty. Nobody around. The funny thing was, we were fine with it lol Kids loved the heated outdoor pool in the rain, turned the sauna on and had fun. I have always appreciated that it is a budget hotel with a kitchen to save some $ making breakfast in the room. However... When I received my confirmation for this stay there was a disclaimer that the hotel is under renovation but no work is done after 5pm. "I was charged twice on my mastercard. Neither The Burrard or Expedia will not reemburse. Needless to say I will not use this hotel nor Expedia again. I am out close to $200 because of these organizations.There are other good hotels in this vicinity for next time. It's incredible that this kind of thing still happens in the 21st century. "
