"I would not recommend and am disappointed at how misleading the positive reviews are.
Pros: Common spaces were clean and staff was very friendly. Beach is very nice and pool was great. Didn’t have any trouble finding lounge chairs by the pool. Location is easy walking distance to touristy shops and restaurants.
Cons: The rooms have not been maintained and are showing signs of age. Our room smelled terrible. All we could smell was mold/mildew constantly and sewage at random times throughout the 5 night stay. The couch was disgusting and had black stains on it which I assume are mold. The towels are tiny and feel like sandpaper and the shower is barely useable if you are over 5 ft tall. Rooms have a kitchen but the kitchen is poorly stocked. Hotel has a cafe but it only serves coffee and some snacks. Definitely need a car to get meals unless you want to only eat at a waffle or pancake house. There is no water filling station which never would have crossed my mind. I haven’t been to a single hotel in the last 10 years that didn’t provide drinkable water via bottles from housekeeping or a filtered filling station. "

"Normally I don’t give reviews but I just had to. I reached out and notified the property that my mom was hospitalized and in the CCU days before we were supposed to check in. Unfortunately my Mom passed away and I sent in her death certificate and they would not refund us our money. I’m pretty sure death is inevitable. She literally passed away the day before our family vacation. Thanks to Expedia for trying to resolve the issue."

"Room was clean and bed was fresh. The staff were great, very easy to deal with. The pools and hot tubs could’ve used a good cleaning but were not terribly dirty. I wish the coffee shop had been open more hours and had more things to choose from. Overall great vacation!"
