"We stayed at Mar Charbel for 7 nights while exploring Cairo. What an amazing gem, centrally located near so many museums, mosques, restaurants, & other historical sites. The rooftop pool & restaurant (chicken cordon bleu & cheesecake) were amazing. Front desk personnel (Michael, Oalfat, George) spoke very helpful English, took care of us & had a genuine smile everyday. There is posted security at the front door, who are very pleasant & friendly. Very safe area with a minimart & restaurant...
"What made me happy was that the hotel is in the heart of downtown, so everything I needed was around: the museum, cafés, restaurants, and even the metro station nearby. The entrance looked very ordinary from outside, but once you go up, it’s a whole different, organized setting. The internet worked well, and the staff were very helpful. Truly an experience worth repeating."
