"very well managed hotel. generally quiet relaxing atmosphere. optimal location close enough to main street with a multitude of restaurants and shops (5 minutes walk), but also directly adjacent to the beach with endless options of beach shacks. clean and well furnished rooms with comfortable bed and bedding. very friendly and helpful staff and excellent service. good breakfast buffet. wifi works well. overall a great experience! would return here anytime. "

"When we first checked in to the hotel (rooms 333 and 334), the rooms were clearly not dusted in a while (could see visible dust on the nightstands, lamps, water bottles, rods in bathroom etc.). The sofa had large spots and were dirty. The WiFi was spotty too (general property had 30+MBps while the room had a weak ~1MBps had frequent connection drops). We immediately called the reception and let them know about the issue. We felt we booked the wrong place for our stay. The staff's reaction...

"Absolutely dreadful experience. The rooms were old, dirty, musty, and covered in mould… hardly the standard anyone would expect from a property associated with Marriott. The “high tea” was a complete joke; it felt more like a fly buffet than a tea service, with flies swarming all over the food. The lack of cleanliness and attention to detail was shocking. From the accommodations to the dining experience, everything felt neglected and subpar. This was nowhere near the Marriott standards we’ve...

"Place stinks of chemicals, limited facilities, poor breakfast, poor water pressure and no hand towels but most of all very unprofessional and somber staff. Checked out early as is a depressing place."
