The only thing that could have made it better were having another person working at check in, I waited in a long line for more then 20 mins. With only 1 person checking guest in. Was there for an event in the area so to me it would make sense to have plenty of staff during those times. But overall it was a good stay. "

"One star and shared is way too much for this hotel. From check-in to checkout my overall stay was not good. My preference is by saying I do tons of traveling for work and really ever do any hotel reviews however, in this case, this is not a review but a warning I stayed in room 312 checked in from Monday through Friday and throughout my stay My room was never clean on any of the days. What’s odd is they swapped out my towel but my bed was never made, my trash was never emptied. The gentleman that checked me in seemed upset and not noticeable unhappy and while checking out I asked the young lady for a receipt to be sent to my email since I had daily parking and she loudly shared that since I booked through a third party I’ll have to go through them for a receipt. Also after sharing feedback about my room she then followed up by asking if I came down daily and requested service. - every single day I was out the room from 8am and returned at 6/8 pm daily and the end of my long day I’m mentally drained. All in all this place is a dump and would not recommend outdated dirty dump. Curtain in The room filthy, faucet in the bathroom filled with visible dirt stains from I’m assuming the previous people brushing their teeth. "

"We booked a room for our anniversary. We are Raleigh natives and have always wanted to stay here but I think our expectations were too high. We couldn’t book a couples massage b/c we were told they get booked 2 months out. We had ants on our balcony. I was told check in was at 3:00 but we didn’t get to check in till 3:45. The staff at the front desk were snotty but the room service staff and cleaning staff were excellent. Being our anniversary and we had to ask if we could have a glass of champagne that was at the front desk at arrival. They have a neat fire pit for wedding parties only- it would be nice if they had those all along the outdoor patio for all guests of enjoy. The tv is dated and the soaking tub is not large enough for 2. I will say the robes were very nice. "
