"Very ideal for a solo traveler who has "outphased" the hostel experience. I stayed 5 nights in a Goldcrest Village single room. You are in a "shared apartment" but all this means is you have a (USA) hotel-style hallway to your separate, key-card locked private bedroom and bathroom (think dorm style, ..."

"The toilet kept running all night, then ran out of water in the middle of a shower. Texted the property owner, who failed to respond. The staff at the coffee shop below was very nice, and they tried to help, but they did not get a response from the property owner either."

"We booked it for the advertised roof terrace. It had been closed down for some time I did broach this as an equally good hotel was almost €200 cheaper. It advertised the only roof terrace but I feel that was missold to us and thought it should have been dealt with The Sophie restaurant is ok"
