"I am nearly 70 years old, I find it hard to say it out loud, I have been travelling for 50 years, I have visited maybe 80 different countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This is , quite simply, one of the best of them all. Can I try to explain why ?
On arrival it is so unassuming; a small entrance from a busy street in the middle of the ancient Medina. A single sign, it would be easy to miss, but inside, it is like Doctor Who’s Tardis: only about 10 bedrooms arranged over four levels;...

"It was perfect!
The riad was in a perfect location, it was in the centre of the medina with everything so close by. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed.
The breakfast was great and the staff were responsive - Rita was brill!
The riad itself was gorgeous, with a lovely rooftop and a great lounge area. We got some great restaurant recommendations from staff too.
I definitely will be coming back to this beautiful riad and Essaouira ❤️
