"This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay ."

Nice fresh croissants and goot drink selection I have stayed before and will stay again due to price, location, lovely romantic stay"

"Fantastic stopover on trip down south . Recently refurbished with great food and exceptional staff. Room was a tad small however this was balanced with cleanliness and really nice toiletries. "We booked 2 junior suites, room 228 was very nice and matched what was advertised on the website. Unfortunately room 117 was less satisfactory, 2 rooms on different levels had been knocked together to form a 'suite' with 2 bathrooms a very small bedroom and remote equally small sitting area. Nice view of the bin store from the window resulting in plenty of clattering as bins were deposited there. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very nice."

"I booked a last-minute night away at The Red Pump Inn in Bashall Eaves, and it completely surpassed my expectations. The pub and accommodation are absolutely charming, with beautiful rooms, perfect location, and wonderful ambiance. However, this 275-year-old establishment had a few surprises up its sleeve! Not only was the food superb, but the 'spirits' were surprisingly friendly. My room had a distinct energy that genuinely surprised a complete non-believer, and the wonderful hosts later...
