"Absolutely lovely find. Rooms -- many with plunge pools -- situated in beautiful garden surroundings, next to a large beach. Could've easily stayed for a week and been very happy."

"We had a fantastic stay at Villa Anassa Mara. Kona, the host, was incredibly helpful, and all of the staff were exceptional throughout our stay. The villa itself was very comfortable, clean and well maintained, with all amenities working perfectly. The outlook over the ocean from the balcony is absolutely stunning, and the pool was spotless and beautifully maintained. The beach bar is a fantastic bonus, with friendly staff and crystal-clear water right on your doorstep. It really adds to the overall experience and makes it easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The only addition I would suggest is a shuttle van to pick guests up and drop them off in town, as this would make getting around even easier. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Villa Anassa Mara to others."

"Penny and her family are excellent hosts. They prioritise the guests and we felt very at home. The atmosphere is relaxed. I loved the background music at breakfast and by the pool. We were in the annex, the view was amazing, we watched sail boats go by from our veranda.The Friday night greek night was great fun well worth booking. The hotel is in a quiet area and is less than a 10 minute walk into Kavos so great to be away from the noise. My son praised the night manager who was very friendy and helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel."

"We had a great stay at the Olympion Village hotel. With the price that we paid we got really great value for money. Staff were always friendly and happy to help. Andreas, the bar man, took great care of us, even making an off-menu ouzo cocktail for us to try. Every time we went past the bar he was talking to someone and always made an effort to greet guests. We were half board and breakfast/dinner was perfect for us. Breakfast had all the hot and cold options you would usually expect, and dinner was a little different every night (both buffet style). During the day food is available to buy at the bar, the club sandwiches were our favourite! The room was great, we paid for an upgraded double room which had a balcony facing the pool and you could see over to the sea as well. The bed looked like two singles put together so it was very spacious. The air conditioning was really good, kept us cool all week. For the most part the room was clean and it was serviced daily, we did notice ants coming from the walls but not the end of the world. The pool was great with plenty of sun beds and parasols available everyday. The edge of the pool where the overflow was looked like it needed a bit of a scrub (black mold/ dirt). Worth bearing in mind that Kavos is a party destination for many, this hotel is away from the action but close enough to walk down to shops and beach during the day. It was very peaceful compared to the main strip. Thank you for a lovely holiday!"

"It is a beautiful setting. The hotel is relatively small but the villas are nicely placed and the pool and bar areas are very nice. The sea is very pleasant with a fine rocky almost sandy beach easily accessible. Sun loungers on the beach are not available but there are enough sun loungers in the surrounding spaces with a sea view so that is OK. There were no water sports eg kayaking available although the hotel next door has a couple of paddleboards you can hire. The sea swimming area is pretty and warm, fine for most but if you like a bigger sea swim you do end up in boat lane traffic after 50 to 100 metres. Very relaxing. Great breakfast and food if a little pricey. Local village is very sweet and renting a boat there is easy. No massage or spa. No real activities to speak of. Very hilly site. But if you just want somewhere clean relaxing with a nice pool, a good view and easy access to the sea, it hits the spot."
