"The staff were very welcoming and attentive, we even got a small welcome and leaving gift. The hotel is set in lovely maintained grounds. The outside breakfast area and view to Funchal centre is brilliant. The location is excellent close enough to walk to the promenade and main food and shopping areas. "Excellent experience, excellent property! Front Desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Meals at the hotel were outstanding! Our daily breakfasts were included and food variety and quality was first class except that coffee machine had long line ups, often required water (was not plumbed in). "Excellent service, staff, and amenities. Pool was amazing!"

"The hotel is centrally located in Funchal close to the mall, grocery store and the boardwalk. The kitchen is great with a full fridge to store snacks and water. The restaurant downstairs offer a fantastic lunch for great price of 12 euro. The included breakfast is awesome with a great al la carte section breads, cheese and fruit. All staff was great but Kaitalin was fabulous and created a beautiful driving tour for us along the coastline!"

"Non c'é ascensore; si arriva camminando lungo una salita non eccessiva. Vicinissima al centro commerciale Plaza Madeira. Pulita e con le cose essenziali che possono servire. É peró davvero molto piccola, lo spazio é ridottissimo. Non c'é spazio per un armadio, c'é un appendiabiti con alcune grucce."
