very nice, well kept, apartment, with all the utensils, dishes, pots/pans, and appliances you could possibly want/need. staff (Elizabeth) was very responsive and helpful. lack of a deadbolt on the door was a bit of an issue, but we worked around it.

This apartment is superb. We took heavy cases and we're on the top floor. This was a challenge for us. However, it has everything you require. It's in the best place for everything. Near cable cars, taxi ranks, lovely walks along sea front. Bed comfy, nice bathroom. We only stayed for one night as we were on our way home from another resort and wanted to see the old town and it was great.

Right in the heart of the eating area of old town. We had a ball here. What a great place. Loved every minute . The apartment had everything we needed. Sensational , would stay again.

Perfect location. Bedroom was on the back and so was very quiet. Minor street noise (people talking) at the front but this was not a problem. Clean and well equipped. Easy communication and great to have a key pad for entry. Lovely to be in the heart of the old town. Would definitely stay again

there wasn't anything we didn't like about the apartment. well maintained and centraly located. The only negative is we would have prefered a washing machine rather than a dishwasher as we only used a couple of plates and glasses, due to the fact we mostley ate out. overall excellent definately would love to rent again.

best apartment in old town funchal

very nice and clean apartment. i stayed in n1 and it even had a little terrace. it is situated in a small pedestrian street in the artist quarter (painted doors street) which means: no traffic noise but people having fun outside - most restaurants close at 11 pm. parking cost is 10 euro if you have a car. really friendly service, i will stay here again for sure

Spacious apartment in a very good position.

We were very satified with our seven days stay here. Very good central position close to the big market. Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Especially we enjoyed the large sunny terrasse (apartment 3). Very friendly and caring staff. If we are going to Funchal some day, we will stay here again.

Excellent location in the heart of the old town on one of the most interesting streets in Funchal, just two minutes from the ocean. Warm welcome from Alexandra including restaurant recommendations which was much appreciated, as well as some bananas and oranges. Plenty of kitchen equipment, although washing up liquid would have been helpful. Complimentary shower gel was only large enough for one person for seven days, so if two people are staying for four or more days I recommend bringing your own.
