"Meisser Lodge was great. Guarda is a fantastic village and a great base for the Lower Engadine. We had a balcony, which we really enjoyed. The facilities and breakfast were great. And we have a special thank you to Marianne who helped retrieve a book from a roof (accidentally dropped from our lovely balcony). Finally, in comparison with other places where we stayed, the Meisser Lodge is very reasonably priced for what you get."

"The owner was not responsive to multiple messages or phone calls for several hours the day of our arrival, which was very stressful not knowing if we would even be able to access the rental when arriving late in the evening with children. I made the reservation several weeks ago. It would have been very easy to simply give me a different number to contact on the day of our arrival, or provide the access code in advance. "Points for the hotel, but not for Orbitz: I booked a single basic room without noticing that somewhere at the bottom, it says in small font that it is a room without a bathroom. Luckily, there was a room with a bathroom available, and I was relocated at extra fee, but what if it wasn't available? This was the last hotel with rooms available in the town. I wouldn't...

"Sehr schöne großzügige Zimmer"

"Quaint hotel with a lot of history. This family owned hotel is charming and the 6th generation runs and staffs it. It has a lot of character and the apartment was roomy and comfortable."

"Wir hatten einen sehr feinen Aufenthalt, von Zimmer über Frühstück, Service, Wellness Angebot, war alles bestens - ein tolles Hotel!"
