"The room service was terrible. Checked in and realised none of the shampoo, shower gel or hand wash was topped up. There was a bowl of half eaten strawberries in fridge from previous guest. Next day asked for room to be cleaned and they didn’t do it. Reception staff was friendly and helpful and the management gave us compensation for the inconvenience. The self service laundry was great and reasonably priced. Charging 100 nok a night for a baby cot is a rip off. Good breakfast Buffett. Apart...

"Super locatie in een leuke buurt van Oslo. De tram naar het centrum stopt om de hoek, ideaal. Het complex is stil (en blijkbaar goed geisoleerd). Op straat was het 's nachts niet zo stil, waardoor het raam niet open kon. De email met de instructie hoe we moesten inchecken kwam pas 's avonds nadat we al lang waren ingecheckt. "

"The overall stay was fine. Hotel is centrally located and walking distance to two train stations. Construction within the same building could be heard but that was out of the hotels control. Lastly, one of the front desk employees was less than helpful. He didn’t seem to care or want to help us with storing our luggage in order for it to be picked up the following morning. He was dismissive and we could tell he didn’t care or want to care. Luckily, the person the following morning was amazing....

"Nothing "Grand" about the Grand Oslo. Don't Stay here! The service at the hotel was non-existent. While there was a general strike affecting some hotels in Oslo, they did not inform the guests in advance. They did not compensate the hotel guests in any way - like a free breakfast, dinner or discount. I selected the Grand Oslo over other hotels for it's amenities like the gym, spa and roof top bar. None of them were open for my entire stay. Yet the full rate was charged for a full amenities...

"The washer/dryer was a disaster. I planned to wash my clothes, which is why I chose this location. The washer takes 1.5 hours, and the dryer takes over 3 hours. Who has time for that...no one. I recommend buying multiple washers and dryers. My clothes still did not dry. Started at 9 pm to wash. I placed them to dry for 3 hours, and they were still damp after the 1st tume. I took out clothes to see if that would help. It did not. I got up at 3 am to check, then again at 5 a.m., then at 7 am....
