Our room was cleaned nicely each day and the pool area was well maintained. Would definitely stay again. "This stay provided exactly what my husband and I needed for our time here. It was nestled in the community and did not feel very touristy. Everyone we met was kind, especially when you greet them. It was walking distance from markets, malls, etc., including Pelican Shopping Mall, Port Zante, and Independence Square, and Basseterre Public Market. "Honestly, Oualie is not the most posh, most modern resort. It's even rather rundown. The accommodations are simple, humble and can do with some work but the sheets are clean (if you get where I'm coming from), the food is nice and staff are available, neighbourly and they work hard.
