"This was my second stay at the property and for one night. My first stay was for 3 nights in room 709. This was rm 701 and it was not comfortable for a number of reasons. The room was huge, and poorly organized. Entry into space with 2 sets of closets, one which contained the safe box which didn’t work. The bedroom was off that large entry and was ok. On the other side of the entry was the kitchen. Beyond that was the dysfunctional bathroom. And on the exterior was a huge linear room open to the outside with a table, a patio I guess. I complained about the safe not working and they brought someone to fix it which didn’t work and then they called in an expert who said it was broken so no safe. Standing in the stupid shower the next morning, and I consider it stupid because it is a glorified round fronted telephone booth sized shower with a hand shower, a rain shower, and body sprays, I turned it on and was happy that the hand shower was tuned into the controls. I chose hot and waited and waited, and waited, and since it was cool after 3 or 4 minutes I switched to cold and it was, very cold. I got out and went to the sink and immediately got hot water so I got dressed and went to reception and complained. They got a plumbing guy and he and I traipsed back and he fiddled with the control knob, turned the body spray on both of us, and did something else and said it was fixed. I showered, and since my flight left after 10 pm, I asked for a late check out and they agreed to 3 pm"

"We had a great stay here! The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was spacious and the beds were firm but comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. We ate at the restaurant for dinner one evening and it was excellent as well. The gym and sauna were really nice too. My only complaint would be that it was a bit noisy. We were in a room next to the busy road and park, so it was loud with traffic and some nightlife. That said, the hotel is in an excellent location near lots of restaurants, the park, and the metro. I would stay here again!"

The room was spacious, clean with excellent soundproofing. The hotel staff were very helpful. Abdul Aziz the guy behind the concierge desk helped me book a train ticket to Samarkand."

"We enjoyed our stay at Marwa. We arrived very early and hadn’t arranged early check in but the reception staff kindly provided a complimentary breakfast and our room was available by 1130am. The room was comfortable and had good facilities and a great view over the city. Breakfast included a great variety of food choices. The spa is small but being able to book an hour is great, book early to avoid disappointment. Only grumble was the pillows, you only get one small pillow each and when we requested another one we were told “yes if we can find them” but nothing came so didn’t sleep very well."

The rooftop restaurant Ember is one of the best restaurants in the city. The only issue is that the power in the room kept shutting off every couple of hours to conserve energy which was a little annoying."
