"I did not have breakfast but the price was much lower than other places so I can't complain entirely because other places were far more expensive and I made the reservation at the last minute. İf there were no towels no heat no television and the only thing I can say was it was a place to sleep and I left very early in the morning as soon as possible. They had a sizable liquor selection at the front desk so if a person is drinking and doesn't take much attention to everything else it would probably work out much better. The public transportation in front does run 24 hours so it's possible to get into the main city easily once you understand what to do. I think it's a former Soviet block building"

"The staff here always gives first class service. The property is conveniently located near many fine restaurants and travel hubs. I give it a '10" during all my stays in Germany."

"Clean and practical. Really only negative feedback is that the hotel lacks character - totally monochrome and the doors are tricky to open - very difficult to grip when your hands are cold. There's a construction site next door, however no noise whatsoever and room was neat and I liked the kitchenette, handy to have plates, glasses, cups, kettle and a coffee machine. Everything you need!"

"Tropical Island is great for children and a fun time out for the family. The room was okay, beds were uncomfortable. There was no soap in the bathroom with toilet. The air conditioning in the room did not work, so was quite warm and stuffy in the room."

"The breakfast was poor. Small selection - I will nor recommand to use InterCityBerlin Nord due to the breakfast. The menu for dinner was mor like the menu you can have at a nerar by gas station."
