All staff, except the receptionist at the SPA, were very friendly and helpful, trying to make the guest feel welcomed. We liked a lot the view from our room, the mood in the hotel and the facilities.

No air conditioning, very firm mattresses, as can be expected in an older building there were not many plugs for recharging all our devices. Breakfast offered a good selection of options.

Nice time in this facility. Nice spa area. Hiking tours and restaurants are nearby. Check in was a little bumpy. WLAN was non existent in rooms, only in central areas.

Had two stays in a short period. One was perfect with a nice room, the other was like walking in to grannys House in the 70’s with ugly carpets and no wifi. Lovely staff.

Hotel was dusty and a musty smell as soon as you enter , my friend’s allergies went off the Richter scale from the dust that we had to leave the following day and could not stay for the second night .. we were going to leave straight away but were tired and unable to get another room close by as it was a weekend ..

Wi-Fi did not work. Bar shut at 7 pm No allocated disabled parking and parking in short supply. Overpriced dinner. menu and no convenient local dining alternative,s. Hotels.com website states hotel has 2 pools indoor. And outdoor which is untrue. Access to restaurant requires use of stairs. This hotel is still stuck in the 19th century.

So wunderschön von außen und leider viele Mängeln drin, kann bestätigen das was viele davor geschrieben haben. Im Zimmer leider zu kalt, Heizung funktionierte nicht, Handtücher und Bademäntel hatten keine Chance trocken zu werden , man kommt nach sehr gut beheiztem Spa Bereich ins kalte Zimmer zurück und wird nach paar Tage nun krank... Schade! Im Zimmer gab es kein funktionierenden Kühlschrank, bzw gab ein mini Kühlschrank der aber drin warm war und es waren warme Getränke drin zu kaufen. In einem 4,5 Sternen hotel rechnet man mit einem funktionierendem Kühlschrank :) .. Badezimmer sehr klein mit sehr kleinen Duschkabine.

Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel

Mein Aufenthalt im Palmenwald war tolle. Bis auf den Wellnessbereich,dieser war total nass und der Service hat hier leider nicht wirklich darauf geschaut. Ebenso war kein Aufguss vorhanden und auch die Luft nicht gut,da keine Fenster. Das Frühstück hingegen war wirklich toll und die Z8mmer historisch und gemütlich.
