"Upon arriving early around 12:15pm or so to check-in, we were told our room wouldn’t be ready until 3:00pm. We then were told to go get lunch and sightsee and leave our luggage in their luggage room that doesn’t have Camera surveillance inside the 2 back rooms this day and age where the luggage is stored. "This is a tough review to write, because the staff was so lovely and helpful. That being said, there was an absolutely disgusting amount of seaweed coming the beach and ocean. You could not go to the beach and you could not swim in the ocean.... being that this is marketed as a beach resort, we were very disappointed when we arrived to learn we could not go on the beach or in the ocean... Seems like they easily could have sent an email or let us know the status of the beach prior to arrival, or...

"This property is a little slice of heaven. Perfectly situated on a peaceful bay on the northwest corner of the island it is sheltered this year from sargasso which is a miracle considering the east coast of the island is covered in it. The rooms are newly renovated following their recovery from hurricane irma and are well appointed and clean. The beach is not oversold to day trippers so there is no fighting over chairs and the staff at the beach are extremely attentive with umbrellas if need...
