"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"Always had to wait for staff since they were never at the desk, the room had uncomfortable furniture, and outdated TV's. The parking lot is extremely sketchy and there seemed to be a lack of any kind of security or cameras outside. The bed was comfortable seems to be the only saving grace, however every time I was in the room I couldn't stop itching. I will not be staying here again"
"Our plane was delayed several hours getting to Washington but the hotel staff were very understanding and accommodating. We were able to check into our room at 5:00 a.m. when we arrived. The staff was very friendly and professional the pool was awesome the hot tub was even better.. the hotel itself was close to everything we needed and convenient. Overall, awesome visit."
"Location, location, location is what this place has going for it. It is within walking distance to downtown and the water front. With that being said, if you are looking for luxury or amenities or super clean... This is not the place for you. The flooring, wall color and shower were great but the fridge and freezer were dirty, the floor had oatmeal stuck to it, there was hair and dirt along the door tract and the walls and around the bed. The beds were very firm so if that's your thing then you will love these. The pillows were either extra firm or no substance at all. While the pictures make it look very roomy it was not. The "sitting area" was one chair. The view from the back door was beautiful but the "deck" was very narrow and oddly shaped. With all that being said... The location is fantastic."
"From the moment you drive up this place transforms you into another place . I loved all the flowers and the property was well maintained. I'm booking my next two vacations now because I'm definitely making this place my go to.. Highly recommend it the staff was so nice and helpful."
"The breakfast was over the top amazing and fresh with comfortable and clean dining. I've never stayed anywhere with so many meal choices and variety with so many coffee options. The staff were thoughtful and curteous and the information provided to navigate the premises was great. The gentleman working the dining room even walked around to topoff/refill your coffee and he even served my mom a coffee while she waited for me to get her plate to her. 💜 The ADA room even provided a separate shower seat! So many ways to get into the building safely and many card accessible restrooms in the hallways as well. Would definitely stay here again. The ADA room could use a bar near the bed since the bed was much higher than 19 inches as described on the website. Other ADA access points were fantastic!"
