They don't lock the doors so seems likely to have issues with homeless or other damage that presumably the motel would try to blame me for? But as for the actual motel. It is a barebones motel. We spent less than 12 hours there. But, the heat came on nice and warm. We watched a movie and used the fridge. Everything worked fine.

This place appears to be a 1960's era motel that has never been renovated. As the on-site manager explained, "The owner wants to run it on less than a shoe-string budget. The towels were so dirty looking we didn't want to shower, so that we wouldn't have to use the towels. Our scheduled 2-night visit was shortened to one uncomfortable night.

The building is older but has large rooms and was exceptionally clean. Very peaceful and bed was very comfortable. We felt it was a great deal for the price. We’ll stay here again if we’re back in the area. It’s clean basic lodging for a great price!

Needs an update and TLC

Owner contacted me for my arrival time, I said 3pm (as it says on the website). No one was available upon arrival at 3pm. Man on the premises didn't know anything. Office has no one but a number to call. Housekeeper arrived, was helpful locating our room and key however we needed to come back in several hours as the room wasn't ready. It was convenient, clean and the two beds were comfortable. No wifi info in the room, one local brochure. I was able to text owner for wifi. Website says departure at 11 am, room sign says 10 am. The decor and furniture hadn't changed in 60 yrs, few outlets worked, no kitchen light, one bedside light, and used a blanket for a window shade on one window.

We had a welcome sign in our window when we arrived. Room was ready for us well ahead of bormal check-in time. I love the old, vintage touches!! Super conveniently located to spend the day @ Franconia Notch SP. Pool was still open & hot tub was really warm.

Beautiful view but won’t stay again

Booked a last minute trip and showed up to check in to find no one working. Called the number on the office door to be met with annoyance that I had made a booking online which they were unaware of. Luckily it was for only the one night so it wasn’t a big deal for me. The place was a bit run down but the one redeeming quality was the view from the room. You could see all mountains unobstructed. Beautiful.
