"The guy who welcome us on the arrival date were nice including in the morning with different guy. The hotel is nice and cute with lovely breakfast room. The lady who take care us for breakfast were lovely."
"Great location and parking (£12.50 a night) one minute walk away from accommodation. Could see issues as you need to download app to add all your details and then email sent separate to complete parking which felt like a chore. Would stay again as felt high end especially the bed but I did stay Sun- Tues so extremely quiet."

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. A few days ago I had a problem starting my car, the staff came out to help me start it and ensure I was not late for my meeting. A big thanks for that."
"Property under work conditions. Builder's works. Out side & in parking area. Not that it stopped peaople from doing things. But things still being sorted. Under staft at times especial sunday morning everyone leaving to go home one barr staff to deal with reception. Barr. Food peoples wants & needs. Breakfast ect . "Very friendly, helpful staff from reception to bar to restaurant. Lovely comfortable room with great character features dating back to the 1500s when the hotel was built as a wool merchant's home. All that you require in a room was provided. Ample free carparking and outside seating area and great access to the town centre for exploring the 2000+ years of history on your doorstep. If you struggle with stairs, ask dor a ground floor room as the original builders didn't install a lift. Any attempt...
"I was In the old part and it needs updating badly. Excited when I saw a spa bath in my room but bath was worn around the plug area and not appealing so wasted. Toilet was stained with brown as old. Taps on sink worn and spun round a lot before water came out. "
"Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, quick check-in, helpful staff.
Only improvement would be to find a way to prevent the doors in the corridor from slamming shut as quite noisy."
