"Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The location was wonderful being less than a mile from several Boston institutions like the MFA, BU, NEU, Christian Science, Boston Common and Emerson U. Also close to mass transit. Plenty of outlets in room. Good amount of lighting. Breakfast wasn't worth it, but several good cafes in the area. Walls were so thin we could easily hear everyone around us. Showerhead was lower than my height (5'8"). "

"Fresh updates / friendly staff/ lively hotel ambience ...we have always loved this hotel/ location and ease of stay ... always ready to make your experience better ! However, the new lobby and open floor plan layout of the restaurant are real bonuses, not to mention the delicious new menu and shiny revamped rooms and hallways . Very happy with the new look !!!"

"I was allowed to check in early. The staff member told me that I should really tip the housekeeper because she cleaned a room fast for me. When I got to the room the only part that had been cleaned was the bathroom. The bed was dirty and clearly slept in, the trashes had not been taken out and there were crumbs all over the desk. Called the front desk and was told they would send someone up, an hour later no one had shown so I called down again and the staff member gave me attitude about how the hotel is sold out and it’s busy. By the time I left and came back at night still no one had come to clean the room. "
