"There is no smoking in certain areas away from the building but the attendants weren't enforced. They a very loose policy. I will never stay a Motel 6 again."

"We were given a key to a room that had obviously not been cleaned. Fortunately an efficient maid opposite heard our call for help and we were given keys (blank!) to the next room down. How does this happen?"

"The room and bed were totally adequate for why we stayed there--to be near the university for the marathon. But the staff was much better than what you get at most hotels -- very friendly and very helpful! "My wife and I stayed here while visiting my mother, and overall, we were very pleased with our experience. The room was lovely, and the pricing was quite reasonable; a great value for the quality offered. Our one notable complaint concerns the mattresses. Both my wife and I found them quite uncomfortable, as they seemed to lack adequate support, to the point where I could actually feel the rails of the box spring or bed frame beneath me. I weigh 500 lbs, so I understand that may be a factor, but my wife, who weighs around 250 lbs, found it equally painful. It's worth flagging for the hotel, as the mattresses may simply be worn out and in need of replacement. Despite this issue, we would still consider returning and would recommend the hotel to others looking for an affordable and pleasant place to stay — just be aware that lighter sleepers may find the beds acceptable, while heavier guests might want to bring additional padding."

"Stayed for the Eugene Marathon and it was an excellent choice. Only 2 blocks from the starting line (I never even had to use a porta-potty!). The front desk staff was friendly and offered a to-go bag of marathon-friendly foods (bagel, peanut butter, banana, etc). We had a balcony room that faced a canal and got to see baby ducks, nutria, and a turtle! The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants, a Starbucks, and Market of Choice. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Our family of 6 had a great stay. Front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel ran out of pillows so we had to put pillowcases on the couch pillows to use for two of us. Also, the room only had four towels for the six of us. However, we were able to get some additional towels by the time we needed them the next morning."
