"this is a MOTEL. nothing indicates, in fact, photos are very misleading. Noisy if you are in front on busy highway. AND, allow pets...when asked for room in back, not facing noise, I almost gagged, ok, I did gag at the smell of furry animals that were guests in that room for sure! Fridge needed defrosting badly (so I did it). Bed lamps glued to table so can't raise up to read in bed! Ok, if you are prepared for a motel!"

"What a lovely room and building. Really enjoyed this hotel. However, the neighborhood outside the hotel was very sketchy and clearly there is an issue with drug addiction in the area. I ate at the restaurant within the hotel and went to and from my car in the gated lot. I enjoyed many other towns in the Berkshires, but Pittsfield was not one of them. Wish this hotel was in a different city, as I would love to stay there again. "

"We booked our 'deluxe' room based on Expedia positive reviews but I have nothing nice to say about this hotel... When we arrived there was no one at the front desk, and when got to our room it was freezing so we put on the heater which was very loud through the night... In addition, the walls are so thin I could hear my neighbors word for word and footsteps over my head late night and starting at 5am, plus the garbage trucks at 6am. Finally, the bed was uncomfortable. I am scratching my head as to how this hotel got good reviews on Expedia - I had a horrible nights sleep...finally, the rate advertised on Expedia was $158 per night but I was charged $259.71... Hard pass. Do not book this hotel."
