"We have stayed at the Dunalastair a couple of times and really enjoyed each visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms very well appointed and clean. The lounge areas are great and we also liked the restaurant and the food. The hotel and area is also very quiet. Nice views of Schiehallion too! Recommended for sure."

"Fantastic setting. Accommodation ideal for a home from home experience. Some of the furnishings are looking tired however Chalet was spotlessly clean, plenty hot water and heating. So much wildlife to watch from dawn to dusk. Restaurant provides plenty options to please most people. "

"Stayed here for the Saturday night with the mrs. Rooms were very nice and bed and furniture were comfortable. Very nice location! Pool and spa was excellent for being in an hotel! Only downside was having to pay for a hot breakfast when the room we bought came with breakfast included, so that spoiled things a little. Cooked breakfast should be included when it says breakfast included so a bit false advertising for me."

"Very clean. Food generally very good but not quite 5 star (root veg on 1 night very very al dente and duck very salty but otherwise good). Staff very attentive yet not overbearing, which is a difficult balance to achieve. Very expensive. Especially expensive in my view is £40 per night to allow a dog to stay. "Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. Spacious and comfortable, with pretty views. The restaurant was amazing (vegan and gluten free options too), and the grocery store/gift shop on site was a great feature (vegan, gluten free options at the store as well). We will definitely be back and would highly recommend! The golf course was excellent as well. We stayed in 12B Maxwells."
