Opal Key Resort & Marina, Key West
10/10 Excellent
"Just wanted a no/low stress trip for a couple of days and got exactly that. The Opal Key has the perfect location; right at the main trolley pick-up and drop off area, at the marina, right on top of Duval Street, great restaurants, Fisher museum shops. The hotel was sparkling clean, pool fabulous and so so quiet. Everything about it was great. "
"We loved our room and it's proximity to the breakfast area, pools, and beach. Everything was very clean. We also loved having a bike/golf cart rental store across the street from our room and they allowed us to park our golf cart at the store for free which meant we didn't need to pay for parking at the hotel. Our only issue was that there was a lot of seaweed in the ocean at the hotel this time of year which meant swimming in the ocean was not an option. The other side of the island had no seaweed, though, so we just took the golf cart for a short drive to a great beach.

"Staff friendly and so accommodating! My wife somewhat particular about view from room; Phiwe and her colleague guided us to the perfect room overlooking pool and, a few feet beyond, the sandy beach. Lots of extras and you are able to walk over to sister property Casa Marina and hang out there too. Near Duval and all the stuff there... "
"Great place to stay, very good location. We stayed in the Pincushion Room. It was a bit small, but we were out and about all day - so it really didn't matter. The front desk staff is amazing. The breakfast was great!!!"
Along one of the southernmost streets in the continental U.S., enjoy a lively area filled with shops, pubs, restaurants and lots of sidewalk acts and vendors.
