This was the 2nd time we stayed at this property & our first experience we left a 5 star review. However, our 2nd stay at this property was a completely different experience! We stayed in the 2 story building from the 1 story building we stayed in last time. We found bugs on the pillows & dying roaches in the bathroom our first night. So the one story building seemed cleaner. My main concern was that someone entered our room our 3rd day. When we got back to our room our door was not only unlocked but cracked open. We text the property to inform them of what had happened TWICE & got no response. Our 3rd try we spoke to someone & she advised that we didnt close the door properly. After assuring them that our door was for sure closed & locked properly, they said they can send a “screenshot” showing their staff didn’t enter our room. When I asked them how can they screenshot an 8 hour window of when we were gone, they never responded. Even up until now, we don’t know if staff entered or a stranger, we haven’t heard from the hotel. For 2 nights, we didn’t sleep. We moved the dinner table in front of the door & stacked it with our belongings in case someone tried to enter again. We threw out all of our food & opened containers in case it was tampered with. Knowing that someone entered our room, we felt violated. The lack of concern from the company when we informed them we no longer feel safe on their property was highly disappointing. They lost loyal customers for good today.
