Bed was amazing, shower was large, however, it needed a good cleaning or regrouting. Close to shops and eating venues.

The room felt a bit small and there should be 2 tvs in a suite. The bathroom was very small. Hyatt house across the street has larger rooms and restrooms. Otherwise a nice hotel convenient to shopping and dining.

After staying at the Hyatt Place in Fort Lauderdale, my credit card got skimmed or cloned, causing a cascade of unauthorized charges. It was our first use of the card in Florida, and the timing was too coincidental to ignore. We had to cancel the card, which was filed with the cruise boat, leading to significant inconvenience. Despite reaching out to Hyatt's customer service and them promising an "investigation," they never followed up, leaving us feeling powerless and frustrated. Sending them evidence of the unauthorized charges seemed to fall on deaf ears. As frequent travelers, this experience has led us to switch to other properties. It's disheartening because we used to enjoy staying at Hyatt, but now, their lackluster response has left us with little trust in their customer service.

Breakfast area was a mess with overflowing garbage cans and not enough plates or silverware. Either do it right or not at all. Front desk staff unfriendly and could care less about guests. They barely acknowledge you there standing and waiting. I witnessed this myself and i watched it with multiple other guests during our stay.

Rosa (I hope that was her name) working the early morning of 4/3/24) was ABSOLUTELY amazing! Check in was easy and smooth. Clean hotel with a great pool and workout facility. Conveniently walkable to many shopping stores and restaurants. A must stay if you’re cruising or flying in the area.

The room was spacious and clean. We were able to check in early which was a great relief as we were traveling with two medically frail individuals in our group and they were able to rest. The breakfast was very limited. Despite going down over an hour prior to closing, the line for the food was extensive, the seating area was full and they had run out of almost everything. There was syrup on the floor. The hotel is located within walking distance of several restaurants including Panda Express and Chipotle. It was easy to obtain food. There must have been a sports team also staying at the same time, there were a lot of running up and down the hallways, random knocks on the door and constantly a trail of wet footprints leading from the elevator to the pool. We were so exhausted we were able to ignore most of it, and it honestly would have been difficult for the staff to mop up after every guest leaving a trail of water coming in from the pool, but I was concerned for my group as I didn't want them to slip. The free shuttle service was very efficient, and able to accommodate a large capacity. It was very much appreciated.

The property itself was fine and lived up to expectations. There was some confusion as to whether there was a free airport shuttle or not. We were told the service was outsourced a year ago and there was a fee, which when I contacted Expedia was apparently confirmed. As the listing said there was a shuttle, Expedia immediately extended a credit in reward points to cover the cost. When we got to the airport we found there was a shuttle, so go figure… A five minute walk from the hotel, there is a Deli called “TooJays”. Amazingly good, and shouldn’t be missed. Wonderful comfort food.
