"We loved this family run hotel! Leo and Mary Ellen were welcoming and helpful, including getting us a taxi to the ferry early in the morning. We ate dinner here one night and it was excellent- local lamb chops and steak pie and chips. I’d highly recommend Manor House if you want a smaller hotel with personal service. We stayed in the main building ."

"We enjoyed our overnight stay at The Bridge guest house. It was full of character and quirky. The location was excellent for anyone travelling the NC500 route. Nice little village. We had double room with lovely kingsize bed and ensuit. Came with usual facilities like tea/coffee, wi-fi. Parking was on road outside or across the road in parking area. The lounge area had a lovely roaring fire with ample seating to relax on. Breakfast was a help yourselves and very nice."

"Dinner was good, breakfast was very good. Bathroom very spacious with excellent shower. Unfortunately there were no shelves for any toiletries. Staff were very attentive and friendly. My only criticism is that we paid for a superior room, but it didn’t feel or look superior. It was on the ground floor with two windows facing Main Street, so the blinds were closed to avoid people looking in. For a standard room that would have been ok, but not for a superior room. "Goed gelegen hotel met grote parking. Voldoende grote kamers met airco. Goede bedden. Uitgebreid ontbijt, waarbij het enige dat ontbreekt kaas en vleesbeleg is. Personeel heeft speciaal chocomelk voor de kinderen gemaakt. Diner is ook van voldoende kwaliteit voor een ketenhotel. Enige nadeel zijn de vele meeuwen op de parking en hun uitwerpselen op je auto. Vlug afwassen is de boodschap voor dat die de verf aantasten."

"We had an overnight stop at this hotel because we couldnt find accommodation closer to the NC 500 due to inflated cost/availability. The Alnaharra Hotel was very nicely situated although it was well off the beaten track for us. We had the Teal & Blue bedroom which was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was extra, but very nice when it eventually arrived having waited an hour for it to be served. I think maybe the hotel was short staffed."

"Andrea was an excellent host, the pod was clean and well stocked with everything you could need to make your own meals. The bed was comfortable and the hot tub was an added bonus to relax after a long drive. Highly recommended! "
