"Didn’t know I’d be hit with a $300 room fee on top of the $188 I was already spending on a room. Made it hard to find food nearby with pretty much no money. I could’ve stayed in Detroit for that amount. The workers were very hard to understand and didn’t seem to care about my issue. Room was fine except for the toilet that had zero pressure to flush correctly and also found long hairs on my bathroom floor. "

"Hotel was really good overall. Only minor thing was the sink faucet leaked when turned on making the counter wet constantly. Hotel staff at check in could benefit from classes in customer service. "

"Didnt pay for the breakfast but there were so many things wrong with this hotel, I definitely will not be back. The staff were all very friendly, but also not very good at their jobs it seemed. The condition of the property is run-down. Nothing seemed to really work the way it was supposed to. The tv remote barely worked, weather was warm for our visit so we wanted to turn the AC on in our room but I guess the AC actually only turns the heat on? We kept trying to turn the ac down and the heat just kept blasting from our vents - our room was at a steady 80 degrees the whole stay - it was terrible. The next morning I headed down to the pool/hot tub around 7:05 .. (pool opens at 7) whoever was in charge of "cleaning up" had the door locked and told me to wait.. so i waited - he let me inside but i had to sit at a table & wait for him to finish up whatever he was doing with the hot tub. Once he left and said it was all ready i noticed the hot tub was absolutely filthy. A thick film floated on top of the green water. The pool was green and murky. There was trash here and there and zero towels. The whole stay was just not worth what I paid at all. "

"Started off rough. Our room smelled like perhaps it was an old smoking room and there were stains in the carpet. Then our TV was busted (as if it had been punched) so I went to say something to the staff. They knew about the broken TV and had reported it days prior and. She said she thought it had been taken care of before letting me know their new maintainence man is part time. After switching rooms though we were happy enough with our stay. The new room felt cleaner and everything worked. Breakfast was pretty decent but the orange juice was...off. The whole family commented that the orange juice not only tasted watered down but there was something not quite right about it. Otherwise everything else was pretty good. Bonus plus is that the pool felt like it was nearly 100 degrees. It felt like bath water and that was pretty great. "
