"It just gets everything right all the time"

"Excellent reception and housekeeping staff but poor service by pool and at lounge. Room and property were beautiful. Mattress needed to be rotated, which they did, after we complained that the mattress was sagging. Breakfast was awesome but alcoholic drinks were overpriced. Air conditioner was not cool enough ."

"Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing and not what we expected from a hotel of this standard. As Platinum members, we were surprised that no room upgrade or alternative was offered to us on arrival. The first room we were given was in very poor condition and clearly needed maintenance. After raising our concerns with the hotel, we were told they were unaware of how bad the room was. We then had to pack everything up, move rooms and unpack again, which was frustrating and took time away...

"Overall, a very good hotel/resort. The challenge is that it's layout is over a very large property. Finding your way around is a mystery and walking to your room, with the luggage, from the reception is very difficult ... but they arranged for a van to take us. Using Uber at night, the driver couldn't find our villa."

"Really well maintained and clean - I would give a 4.5* rating. We really liked it but there were a couple of negatives which prevented giving a 5*. Really quiet and peaceful on evenings and rooms very well sound proofed from the noise and the rooms were huge!! The kitchen and bathrooms were lovely. No complaints at all on the rooms. The pool area was lovely and could usually get a bed if needed, but will never be too far from your room. Only a ten minute walk down the hill to a brilliant beach....

"The hotel was beautiful (lobby, game room, restaurant, bar & pool area) and the room very comfortable (A/C, Shower & Bed). Also, Suzanne was a great receptionist, who always displayed a friendly smile and provided helpful information (in excellent English). The only knock on the hotel was the lack of any off street parking. We came back late in the evening, so we always got street parking. "The check in time was not until 4:00pm which I think is quite late but even then our room was not ready. The staff were apologetic but after travelling you just want to get into your room. When I booked it I did not realize they are part of a 2 hotel system so if you want the beach hotel - the one which I thought we had booked there was a specification so several of the pictures online of the place showed the beach version of the hotel which was disappointing.
