The nearest ski hill isn't always open and anyway it's only for experienced skiers, as it's "hors piste." That said, it's only 40 min from Serre Chevalier. The little town is cute. "We had the best stay at Le Savoy! The hotel had a very relaxed, fun vibe. I can't say enough about the staff. Top notch! Super helpful and friendly. The location in the center in town was convenient. The 20% off discount (for hotel guests) at the Sport Boutique (ski equipment rental) was appreciated. "We stayed for a week and were very impressed after reading some, not so good earlier reviews, however all became clear as this hotel is now under new ownership. Hotel is on the main strip and only a 5 minute walk to Jandri lift, rooms were clean, comfy bed nice bathroom good choice for breakfast and has a sauna and hot tub as a nice little bonus after a day on the slopes.
