"We stayed in one of the Roman rooms, the room was fairly clean, but there was still hair in the shower from the previous tenant and the tub had black specks coming out of the jets. Bathroom drawers are screwed shut with drywall screwers through the drawer face.
The room was generally good, but everything in it was very tired and in need of updating. The tv near the bed had a laughable wiring set up that just looked terrible. It was an extension cord ziptied to the wall over a doorway to an outlet.
The staff were helpful when we checked in, but halfway through the stay, our keycard stopped working. I went to the front desk, rang the bell a couple times per the instructions. 5 then 10 minutes go by, nobody shows up. I call the number at the desk, no one answers. I called the hotel's number from the website and must have got one of the managers. He came down within 10 minutes and refreshed my keycard.
Breakfast was the typical continental affair, nothing worth noting.
Location was good."
"I enjoyed my stay so much. The place is clean, room are big and clean too. The staff is very professional and friendly. I forgot one of my favorites sweatshirt, they sent it back to me as soon as they could. Thank you for your amazing services. I recommend "
"Parking 2-levels outside- steps were icy & snow-covered (snow had ended prior to my arrival) front desk employee was sitting in lounge area playing on phone. I feel they could have been clearing steps and/or applying salt. Instead the night employee did this well after 11pm which kept us awake as it was outside our window. Snow removal plow also dropped his blade well after what would be considered ‘quiet time’."
"Loved the Victorian house and the lovely decor. Mary is a wonderful hostess. The breakfast was wonderful. She made gluten free biscuits and muffins for a person in our party that has gluten issues. We had ample eggs, bacon, fruit, toast, etc. Ample amount of food and selections. We asked her to sit with us and fill us in on the history of the house. It was a great morning. We plan on going back. She was renovating the third floor which understandably makes the second floor hard to keep dust free. It’ll be a beautiful suite when it is done and well with this minor inconvenience."
"Staff was friendly and attentive. Hotel is very old and was most likely a Super 8 at one time. Some upgrades to rooms have been done but need more work. Bathrooms need remodeling and ac units need updating."
