The proprietor, Catherine, welcomed us into her home, offering tea and home-baked sweet-cakes, a lively discussion of the history and workings of the local establishment. We felt pampered, such a warm welcome. The room, beds/linens was ao comfortable, with plenty of amenities. Breakfast was made to order, generous and very delicious. She immediately responded and checked with housekeeping, before calling Neil, who took me to two other bedrooms and upon seeing these, I then chose a suitable alternative.
