"I can honestly say this is one of the best places I've ever stayed & this certainly wasn't what I anticipated when booking. Our party booked prior to bad weather hitting & meaning we had to cancel our plans for onward travel. We ended up altering our plans & stayed on at Purdy Lodge for a second night so as not to risk travelling in snow. "Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "

TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer. A few minor issues that could be improved upon are; TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible.
