"We had such a wonderful stay at Parkwood Lodge in Door County! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome — the staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our entire stay.
Our room was spotless and cozy, and the lodge is in a fantastic location, close to so many great spots in Door County while still feeling peaceful and relaxing.
One of our favorite parts was the pool and hot tub area — so clean and well-maintained! They even have a convenient shower...

"When planning our first trip to Door County, our needs were simple, but hard to find. Many places say that they are dog friendly but then you find that they have weight restrictions or charge ridiculous fees. At Spruce and Shore, not only was our dog welcome for a reasonable fee, he was practically elected the mayor of Fish Creek. "Lynne and the younger man that work the desk were extremely personable and accommodating. I worked a wedding for hair and makeup, my mom sharing the room with me would have had to wait 2 hours outside the original check out time, but they allowed me to extended my checkout time while working with Expedia to make sure my stay was as seamless as possible and did not make a fuss over the change!
Also left a clothing item in my room and they had it folded nicely waiting for me even after checkout....
"This was a last minute trip for my wife and I. We booked a night at Gordon Lodge very quickly the morning we left and were hoping we made a good choice. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with our pick. Very nice resort! Very clean cabin. We had dinner at the lodge that night and the food and atmosphere were great! The next morning we had breakfast there as well. What a fantastic breakfast! We'll be staying Gordon Lodge again the next time we come to Door County."
"We had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan from our room's window. The Lake was close to the building so the sound of the waves could lull us to sleep. The windows opened to allow fresh air into the room.
The breakfast muffins and doughnuts tasted homemade.

"Check-in was quick and easy. I was also allowed to check in early. Parking was close. Owners and staff were very nice! The pool and hot tub shut down at 10 pm and unfortunately so does the fire pit. So, if you're looking for very quite after 10, this is your place! Also, there are only steps to get down to the bottom level of the building, so if you have a suitcase, be prepared to pull it up the grassy hill. Only a 3-4 minute drive to downtown Sister Bay. Overall, nice place! "

"Great little Motel situated on the North side of Ephraim, just a few minutes away from Sister Bay. Clean. Economical. Easy check-in and checkout. Nice breakfast with both hot and cold options and shady spots to eat around the pool. Small business with easy parking. If you're looking for a nice but less expensive place to stay, this motel is a great option."
