"We have stayed at the Heathman a few times now, and while it is always a clean, welcoming and friendly - I was so sad to see they renovated and removed the sitting library area. There is a small seating section on the second floor with book shelves, but it just doesn’t have the same cozy feel as before. Rooms are always lovely and spacious. The suites are perfect for our small family. It is an easy walk to coffee, food, Powell’s, theaters, etc."

"Very poor service and in dis-repair! No hot water in shower in our room and shower head sprayed everywhere when turned on. Could not take a shower. No coffee service in room. When i went down to the front desk at 6 am to tell them about the shower and to ask them about lack of coffee service in the the room, they said it is not provided but we could request coffee service and it would be brought to the room. The night desk personnel there at the time were unsympathetic and unapologetic. No coffee service in the lobby at 6am and the restaurant did not open until 7 am. We had prepaid for the room and parking and at check out were informed there was an additional $40 fee for amenities which we were not aware of and not included in the Expedia quoted price. Needless to say, we were not happy and the day manager waived the fee. They also informed us of a $60 deposit fee at checkout which will be reimbursed after check out. We will not return."
