"Mike and Margaret were so kind and accommodating - their home is located in SUCH a beautiful space, and we were treated to a wonderful breakfast and conversation in the morning. We felt free to come and go, and enjoyed enthusiastic recommendations from Mike, including an exciting "scrabble" up Thundering Brook trail and a glorious swim spot at Kent Pond. The carpets are beaten down, the whole hotel smelled of cleaning agents, and our room smelled of cigarettes. Putting that aside, rooms were actually clean. No bugs, dirt or anything. THE BREAKFAST WAS MORE THAN SUFFICIENT & PLENTYFUL.
IT WAS NOT EVEN TAKING DOWN UNTIL AFTER 9:30 AM!!!
THE CLEANING STAFF NEED TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO CLEANING BEHIND & UNDER THE BED. PUT THE REST OF THE ROOM SEEMED CLEAN.
