"Friendly front desk and breakfast room. clean room (except corners of bathroom floor) excellent breakfast. Why do most hotels have entry doors to rooms that SLAM shut? When guests come and go at all hours of the night and early morning you awake to a SLAM! from out in the hall. "

"The staff where friendly but other than that it was bad. Checked in went into my room and once I walked in the room was freezing it was like a ice box not evem exaggerating. My husband went to turn on the heater and the heater was not even working. The room was also not in good condition. We eneded up leaving and going to a different hotel. We Checked out of the Royal the next morning and took the $100 loss."

"Elevators out of service. TV did not work. No body wash in the shower dispenser. Front desk agent had a nasty cough (both when we checked in and the next morning when we were at breakfast and she was still working the desk). Room had extremely poor lighting. Area around the hotel was not very attractive. All around bad experience."

"This was a great hotel, great value. There was some renovations going on or the facility would have gotten 5 stars too. The lobby and conference room are set up as a mini museum to veterans. There is a nice display for code talkers. The breakfast was very good. If you talk to Teresa who maintains breakfast ask her about her father who was a Navajo Code Talker. "

"This is a budget, no frills motel. Pros: comfortable bed, large room, refrigerator, good black out curtains, no freeway noise, limited train noise, cheap rate. Cons: thin walls, hair on the floor, boisy toilet. Overall, we got what we paid for."
